The quality speaks for itself. DJI are clearly the leaders with the time and attention to detail that they put into their Drones. The materials and technology used are robust and made to do the job that it is intended for. This is my second drone purchase, my fist was a Parrot AR Drone, this DJI Spark is in a different league (and a different price bracket). For such a small device (the body of the drone is smaller than my phone in footprint) it has some real power. I have only used my mobile and DJI’s app from the Android playstore but this still gives you a lot of manoeuvrability and control over your drone. I was concerned that it would be blown away at the slightest bit of wind and loose control. This is not the case, with the built in sensors – GPS, visual positioning and front obstacle avoidance it stays in place. If you are going for the base model, the next thing I am going to purchase will be another battery pack. It just means you can get out there and fly straight after your first session honing your skills and control. Following that the controller which will enable the greater distance and “Sport” mode. To summarise, I am really pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this to the amateurs or hobbyist out there. One last thing, the clarity with the video and pictures are stunning. Yes, this doesn’t have 4k but its entry level, the Full HD it does have, it uses it well.(Read more)
